I TEXTED YOU LAST NIGHT?...OH I TWEETED YOU......

BACK. There is a NEW language of love. Its called TECHNOLOGY. No one talks anymore. I call you. You text me. I leave you a message. You in box. I email you. You instant message me. What is going on? Relationships have become VIRTUAL. They don't seem REAL. It 's like we are ALL living in the Matrix.  Neo was right.  "There is no SPOON".

He FRIENDED me on Face Book. I didn't even remember who he was. We went to the same High school. I checked his STATUS. We were both single. After a couple of COMMENT exhanges, I INSTANT MESSAGED him. Our messaging became more flirty. I sent him my number. He TEXTED me the next day. I texted him back that night. He asked me to SEND him a PIC. I did. Somebody SHARED a link on my twitter page. I texted him "do you have a twitter account"? He did. I shared the link on his TIME LINE. He TWEETED me right back, "Cool"! He sent his regular "GM" text. I tweeted him right back, "@...... whats up?"  Things were going well! We'd been in a relationship for about a month. He IN BOXED me "what are you doing this weekend"? I POSTED on his WALL "nothing". He wanted to HOOK UP on Friday. I instant messaged him, "what time"? He EMAILED eight o'clock. Then he sent the link to his SKYPE.   I wonder what I should wear?
Still Single

  2. New technology has gone TOO far....What happen to hearing people laugh on the phone (LOL), or watching expressions (SMH), or even getting anger and cursing someone out (STFU)....We think we are gaining but exactly we are losing the core values of communication and relationships...

  4. We have lost our dayum minds! I'm in that texting relationship. Unfortunately my partner doesn't realize that type of relationship offers far too much opportunity to find that person who wants to connect in real time! Real time being in person not on a high speed connection! I can text you from her place I love you! Get back to the real relationship it's face to face!

  5. Right on to the last anonymous post! Can you really say you're in a relationship when you're JUST texting, tweeting, and face booking! I'm glad I'm one of those in face to face kinda women cause I need to see your face, hear your voice and read that body language! Too east to hide in the virtual world!

  6. Technology is the world we live in and if you do not embrace it, you will be old and out of the loop. The problem is, people rely too much on technology and not enough on practicality. Its a balance and we all have to master it. And don't act like i'm the only 1 that carries on texting relationships because they are great entertainment for long work days lol! Yea I know the closest we will ever get to real interaction is the occasional shaft shot, but she doesn't have to know that! (I'M JOKING, I'M JOKING, LOL)
